RIGHT ECTOPIC (PELVIC) KIDNEY
A 40-year-old man presented with pain in the right lumbar region. The pain
was dull with no radiation. Ultrasound revealed a right renal image in the
pelvic region with no hydronephrosis or calculus. Intravenous urography
confirmed a right ectopic (pelvic) kidney with satisfactory excretion and
no evidence of hydronephrosis or hydroureter. The patient was counselled
and given symptomatic treatment.
