i am an old graduate and currently in the US doing my residency. isincerely hope this time the convocation is held in a respectful way not the way it was last year. A total shame in the crush hall. Its a tradition that needs to be established and made more fun and dignity brought into. A proper chief guest would be a start , a good get together dinner with some performances , skits , songs etc by the college students will certainly bring more flavour into it and make it really lovable and enjoyable. I had travelled all the way for it and was really upset at the arrangements and the way it was all done. Similarly a grand reunion probably in the summer will be a wonderful event for the ayubians. It will bring in old ayubians from all over the world. Lets see if the current administration can deliver this as well. it will bring in ideas and make a platform for the old and new students to learn and gain from each other and it would be helpful for their future as well. I Grduated from Ayub 10 years ago and what i saw when i came for the convocation , i was saddened. I heard KMC has recently arranged a Funfair and a musical night for its students and on the students website i was saddened to see firing done in the one organized by ayubians. What was more serious was the students who did the terror act were let off the hook due to political involvement and pressure on the principal. last year I saw the function on CD organized by some juniors outside the college main building with the big screen for the silver jubilee and it was simply wonderful , we have all the talent but the administration wants to put us in cages. we should have more of them. Please give these suggestions to the present administration which i think is improving the atmosphere in college and bringing in 'enlightened moderation' which was spoiled by the previous principal , who was very weak in front of the mullahs in the govt, even the local ilyasi mosque mullah interfered in the college affairs. I hope the present principal brings some vigor into the post of the principal of ayub medical college , which is an honour and a strong position. my suggestions may please be given to Dr rashid , rather forwarded on to him please , regarding the reunion , funfair , musical night , skits function to improve the image of the college and elevate its esteem in all fields educational and extra-curricular and to be a strong administrator and do justice and not to be weak to politicians and just do what he thinks what is right. He will be surely remembered as a great and rigid administrator and not in the way all others have been.

congratulations to you personally and the new administration, well done.its indeed a very encouraging thing in our college to have the computer lab opened. We the girls have been deprived of all affairs of the college.We cannot go to the library in the evening, we have to put up with studying in the messes , if we can go to wards and bazar in the evening why cant we go to the college library and study with our classmates, why is it only for the boys. In this new era we are deprived of computers in the evening. we should have access to internet in the evening and computers ofcourse , even if you get some private people to open internet facility for us in the hostel it would be very lucrative and many private parties would be interested and will invest, it will give us internet as i am aware we dont have any funds from the govt. Please can you tell the principal look into these two issues for us , college library in the evening and internet facility for us , probably by a private investor to speed it up. Please dont put the women of our province in cages and let us live too and enjoy the same privileges in an institution as the men do.

Though this may not be an appropriate place for posting suggestions about the college in general , I would like to bring to the attention of all the concerned authorities that the college mess is in poor condition-cutlery,culinary,etc is in a very short supply.There are more than two hundred students currently in the hostels , and only one hostel mess is open for serving meals. Food served is insipid and tasteless and the dishes on menu have been selected randomly.As if all this wasn t enough, the mess contractor is bent on winding up everything before 7 45 am breakfast and 1 00pm and 6 45 pm lunch and dinner respectively. I don t know if there is anyone we can complain to because the hostel warden is turning a blind eye to all this.
