Ayub Medical College’s Delegation Attended 5th International Conference of PNQAHE at FCCU, Lahore

Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad proudly participated in the 5th International Conference of Pakistan Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (PNQAHE) and Annual General Meeting (AGM), held from April 14 to 16, 2025, at the Forman Christian College University (FCCU), Lahore. This highly impactful event was organized by Khyber Medical University (KMU) in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan under the dynamic leadership of PNQAHE.

Representing Ayub Medical College was a dedicated team led by Prof. Dr. Ruqqia Sultana, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), alongside Mr. Mujaddid Sameeh, Data Analyst, and an enthusiastic group of students from various classes. Their participation reflected the institution’s ongoing commitment to enhancing academic quality, transparency, and institutional growth.

Main theme of the conference was “Stakeholder Engagement in Quality Assurance – Shaping Higher Education with Inputs from all Relevant Voices”. The 5th International PNQAHE Conference brought together QA professionals, academia, policy makers, and students from across Pakistan and abroad. The aim was to explore effective stakeholder engagement in academic quality assurance (QA), ensuring shared responsibility for improved educational standards and institutional excellence.

Workshops facilitated by renowned international and national experts were conducted on April 14, followed by thought-provoking conference sessions on April 15 and 16. Key topics revolved around models of stakeholder engagement, the role of students in QA, collaborative efforts between academia and industry, policy regulations, and community-centered QA responsibilities.

The presence of Prof. Dr. Ruqqia Sultana and her team at this high-profile event not only marked AMC’s active involvement in national quality enhancement initiatives but also offered valuable exposure and learning opportunities. Students benefitted immensely from interactive sessions, knowledge-sharing forums, and networking with peers from other universities and QA professionals.

This event also allowed Ayub Medical College’s QEC to engage with broader national QA frameworks, aligning its strategic goals with the latest trends and tools in quality assurance.

The successful organization of this conference is a commendable initiative by KMU and PNQAHE, reflecting their vision to promote quality culture across higher education institutions in Pakistan.
