History
To provide dental education and better dental health facilities to the people of this region, the Department of Dentistry at Ayub Medical College was established in 1999. A class of 24 students was initially inducted, which graduated in 2003. Later on, the strength of the students was increased to 50 to meet the demand. Twenty batches of dentistry students have graduated to date, and they are excelling in their fields not only in Pakistan but also in other nations around the world.
Under the auspices of CPSP, post-graduate training in the field of “oral and maxillofacial surgery” began in 2004 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Iram Abbas. This gave students the chance to enroll in the post-graduate training program and pursue their careers. More than 20 students have earned fellowship status in oral and maxillofacial surgery to date, and they are currently working in prestigious Pakistani colleges.

oral hygiene, and advancing dental research to improve the overall well-being of our patients
