Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Assessment Held at Ayub Medical College
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) in collaboration with the Community Dentistry Department successfully conducted a highly engaging workshop titled “Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Assessment” on Wednesday, 24th July 2024, at Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Najia Sajjad Khan, a seasoned expert in medical education and certified in Artificial Intelligence application in teaching and research. The workshop was attended by faculty from both Basic and Clinical Sciences, who actively participated in exploring the transformative potential of AI in modernizing instructional methods and improving assessment accuracy.
Organized under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ruqqia Sultana, Director QEC, along with her dedicated team, the workshop proved to be an excellent platform for professional development. It provided participants with practical insights and hands-on experience in integrating AI tools into the academic environment.
The event emphasized the growing importance of AI in education, highlighting how it can support personalized learning, streamline evaluation processes, and enhance overall teaching effectiveness. Attendees found the session insightful, interactive, and highly beneficial for advancing educational innovation in healthcare.
