







The Pre-Convention Workshop on “Artificial Intelligence in Research and Medical Writing” was successfully held on April 9, 2025, as part of the 19th Biennial Provincial Convention of PIMA KPK. The workshop was organized by the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) of Ayub Medical College, in collaboration with the Gynae-C Unit.
The event brought together faculty members from both Basic and Clinical Sciences, fostering a multidisciplinary learning environment. The session was facilitated by Dr. Najia Sajjad Khan, a distinguished lecturer in Community Dentistry, who skillfully guided participants through the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in enhancing research accuracy and improving the quality of medical writing.
The workshop was organized under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ruqqia Sultana, Director of the Quality Enhancement Cell. Her continued commitment to academic excellence and innovation was reflected in the successful execution of this workshop.
It was an interactive and insightful session, where participants explored practical applications of AI tools in literature reviews, data analysis, manuscript writing, and ethical research practices. The facilitator also highlighted emerging trends and resources that can significantly assist researchers in streamlining their work.
The workshop served as a great learning opportunity, equipping attendees with modern tools and perspectives necessary in today’s rapidly evolving medical research landscape.
