The 75th Independence Day of Pakistan was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Ayub Medical College.

The Chairman Extra Curricular Committee Dr. Umair, students and their teams organized the Independence Day ceremony. Chief guest was Dean, AMC Professor Dr. Umer Farooq, who was accompanied by Regional Director CPSP Professor Dr. Jahangir Khan. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed, Associate Dean of Ayub Medical College and Hospital Director of Ayub Teaching Hospital, along with the heads of all departments, students, hospital administration and college employees participated in large numbers and especially Children of doctors and employees participated in the ceremony. All the childrens were holding Pakistani flags in their hands.
Dean Ayub Medical College and CEO Ayub Teaching Hospital Dr. Umar Farooq along with Regional Director CPSP Prof. Dr. Jahangir Khan and others conducted the flag hoisting ceremony at 8:00 am. Later the Independence Day ceremony formally started at Ayub Medical College. It was done in the hall.

The ceremony started with the recitation of Holy Quran and Naat Rasool Maqbool (peace be upon him). In the ceremony, the students of Ayub Medical College presented speeches and songs, after which various societies of Ayub Medical College performed their arts. Along with this, the students also started the planting campaign by presenting painting and different types of regional tableaus and games to add spirit to the gathering.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dean Ayub Medical College and CEO. Ayub Teaching Hospital Dr. Umer Farooq said that the freedom of Pakistan is a special gift from Allah and this country has been achieved after many sacrifices. We should value our country and Pakistan Army. We share the pain and suffering of our mothers and sisters who are suffering oppression in Kashmir. All of you young people have to take care of this Pakistan tomorrow. Today we are all free. It is a great blessing of Allah. We cannot thank him enough. Addressing the ceremony, Regional Director CPSP Professor Dr. Jahangir Khan said, everyone should take a pledge that they will thwart any conspiracy against Pakistan and its security agencies and play their full role in the development of Pakistan. The ceremony will end with cake cutting and prayer.
