Workshop on Responsible AI Use in the Classroom Conducted at Ayub Medical College
The Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), in collaboration with the Department of Community Dentistry, Ayub Medical College, successfully conducted a hands-on workshop titled “GPTZero: Responsible AI Use in the Classroom” on Tuesday, 28 October 2025 at Ayub Medical College.
The session was facilitated by Dr. Najia Sajjad Khan, an accomplished academician and trainer with expertise in medical education, research, and artificial intelligence applications in education. The workshop focused on the responsible and ethical use of AI tools in academic settings, with special emphasis on maintaining academic integrity, detecting AI-generated content, and integrating AI responsibly into teaching and learning practices.
Faculty members from both basic sciences and clinical departments actively participated in the workshop. The interactive session provided participants with practical exposure to AI detection tools, classroom applications of AI technologies, and strategies for promoting ethical AI use in higher education.
The workshop aimed to enhance faculty awareness regarding emerging AI technologies and equip educators with the knowledge and skills required to address the evolving challenges and opportunities associated with artificial intelligence in medical education.
