An advocacy seminar regarding visceral Leishmaniasis was held in Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad on 14th May, 2014. Commissioner Hazara Division Mr Abid Ali Khan was the Chief guest of the occasion. The seminar was attended by over 60 distinguished participants from Ayub Medical College, Women Medical College, Abbottabad International Medical College, CMH Abbottabad, Department of Health, NGOs and press. Speakers highlighted the current issues regarding the current epidemiological features of the disease and its preventive measures.
Participants emphasized the need to take concrete steps in order to control the disease.
